this seems to be quite a promising year for me.. being in a new place.. and the Maldives at that.. kewl, eh? =)
vivien and i had a New Year's dinner with two of our bosses and several Filipino colleagues at Nalahiya resto.. it's a hotel here in Male.. we didn't wait for midnight there.. we only stayed until 10 that evening.. then we went to the flat we call home and welcomed 2009 from the silent terrace of our building..
=)
hmmm... and as each new years go.. i have some resolutions prepared..

1. be thankful and not spiteful.. if anyone has anything -- ANYTHING at all -- bad to say about me.. i'll juz turn the other direction and start counting my blessings.. and always end with saying.. "basta gwapa lang gihapon.. payts na.." lolz.
2. give, give, give.. alot of people has helped me get through the past years.. i believe this year is my turn to give back.. either i pay it forward.. or i return the favor.. doesn't matter.. as long as i give back something to the world who has been so kind to me. =)
3. save, save, save.. this one is prolly on my list each year.. =P
4. no guy commitments for a year.. or any pseudo-relationships for that matter.. no more dramas.. hahaha. seriously though, i want to concentrate more on self improvement now.. i think i've done enough self-destruction for the past couple of years.. hmmm.. hahaha.

5. nurture healthy relationships with people who matter.
