thoughts on my upcoming Maldivian trip..

i spoke with Daniela, the Business Director of Atoll Paradise, the other day... and she sounded pretty ok... she seemed to like me... or so i hope... and the phone interview went really well... so, ate roch and i did a little google earth... (hehehe... lingaw man diay ang google earth, andz, sah? hehe...) and i realized this....

that it is sooooooooooo far from the Phil...

Male, its capital, is really small... it's waaaayy smaller than those tiny dots visible on the picture above... i did some research in Google and found out that you can actually go around the entire island-city in an hour?!?? hahahaha... yup... that's the sorta place i'm gonna be in a month from now... i'm understandably excited and scared at the same time!!

i received yet another call from Anu... she's the assistant to the CEO... she wants me there in less than a month?!? i'm still trying to haggle my departure date as of the moment... this is really scary... December 10 is just too fast... and everything would seem to be in a blur... and i don't want to waste the opportunity to spend Christmas with my family here in Singapore! it'd be our first time to spend the holidays outside of Pinas... and i want to be a part of it... i hope Atoll's management will give in and let me fly there after Christmas instead...

travel and tourism 101

i got the questionnaire from Anu last night... and i spent the whole day today answering those rhetorical 'describe yourself' kinda questions... answering them wasn't exactly a breeze as i expected it to be... and i thought it'd be easy! apparently NOT... at least for me... but i actually had fun answering the questionnaire... especially since the questions were on one of my fave topics to date: TRAVEL.

singa sistahs at clark quay

Ate Roch took me to Clark Quay last night. 'tis their gimmik spot here. lotsa bars, bunjee jumping, hooters, a bar that looks like a clinic... you name it and the Singaporeans have thought of it... sort of their version of our "mango" spot back in Cebu... where Yo.u and Casanova are... but ummm... only juz a teeny-weeny-tad bit bettah? hehehe... we failed to bring our cam so the best that we could take with Kuya Paui's phone are these shots of me and Ate... hehehehe...
